Hailing from St. Petersberg, Russia, Vadim Asmolov was trained from a
young age by top world professionals. At St. Petersburg University,
Vadim majored in Ballet Choreography and Ballroom Instruction. Before
being recruited in 2001 by Fred Astaire Dance Studios, he
competed in numerous international competitions in both international
standard and latin dance styles. Vadim is co-owner of the Fred Astaire
Dance Studio Mystic. He enjoys working with all dancers, and is
especially enthusiastic about teaching couples preparing for their
wedding day. With his energetic teaching style, Vadim has earned the
Top Teacher of the Year award several times.
Rogelio Garcia has dedicated himself to the art of dancing and
instructing since joining the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in 2002. He
has earned places in the top 10 rankings in many regional competitions
and has won open and closed rhythm divisions several times. In 2007,
Rogelio opened the Fred Astaire Dance Studio Mystic with his business
partner, Vadim Asmolov. Rogelio is very eager to share with all
students his love and passion for dancing.
Originally from Schwalmstadt, Germany, Juliet Thibodeaux began dancing Ballet at
age 5, followed by Jazz and Hip hop. She began Ballroom dance training
at age 13 and soon discovered her love for teaching. Juliet joined the Fred Astaire franchise
in 2004, and joined the Mystic studio in 2011.
Juliet has competed successfully in both smooth and rhythm dance
styles at regional and national events. Her numerous years of teaching
all over the world at many different dance levels have made her an
expert at teaching beginning and advanced students alike. Experience

Mekhael Srour began his dance career when he was very young with
freestyle Break Dancing in his home country of Lebanon. In 1996
Mekhael joined the world of Ballroom dancing, competing as a top
amateur and winning the Lebanese Cup in 2006-2007. In addition to
competing, in 2009 Mekhael served as a national judge and trainer.
Joining Fred Astaire Dance Studio Mystic in 2010, Mekhael took third
place in a recent regional competition. Mekhael maintains a unique
flair for encouraging his students to open up on the dance floor and
shows an expressiveness and passion for dancing in every step he
takes.
Cara Servidio began dancing at an early age. She has studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz,
and Modern dance, and graduated cum laude from Central Michigan
University with a B.A.A. in Business and Dance. Cara taught Tap,
Ballet and Jazz dance to children ages 2 through 12 before beginning
her Ballroom career. She always brings enthusiasm and excitement with
her to the floor. Through teaching and performing Cara loves sharing
with others the art of dance which has brought so much joy into her
own life.
Originally from Michigan, Caleb Converse spent a lot of time dancing,
teaching, and competing in the Midwest. Caleb trained primarily in
Chicago, focusing on West Coast Swing, in Arizona, concentrating on
rhythm dancing, and in Montreal, focusing on smooth dancing.
Caleb has worked with many beginner students and wedding couples, and
specializes in choreography and fun/easy teaching methods. He is known
for his electric, positive energy and passion for competing. In
addition to advancing his own professional competition track, Caleb
often works with advanced students, choreographing and competing with
them.
